I am imposing a twenty-five image limit on my photography outings. I remember that when I shot analog with my Nikon FE and a roll of 25 exposure film, my photography was so much more deliberate. Now with digital I just shoot shoot shoot!
The result? Two hundred+ images of sub-par images with about twenty-five real keepers, but for the life of me I can’t find those twenty-five because I have about four almost exact copies of each of those twenty-five because of digital and it’s non wastage ethos, I can’t decide. Which all equals more time behind the computer and not behind the lens. More indecision. I’m done!
So starts the 25 exposure digital self imposed limit of deliberate photography! Goodbye happy snapper.
Love that idea of limiting digital shots. After a week passes I give up on sorting or deleting the massive amount of speed shots, lame shots, meaningless shots, etc. So I’m going to follow suite. The simplicity of your website is classy and the subtly of your background texture, nice.
